For those who follow this blog and celebrate Christmas, I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and thank you for your support in following my adventures through life.
Through every year, we learn things about ourselves, about the world we live in, the relationships we’ve built and broken, etc., etc., etc.,
However there is one thing that still remains the same. Christmas is holiday that is universally liked by those young and old and we all have our fondest memories of this magical time. As the years go by, we get together to reminisce on those old memories as we make new ones.
Of course, one of the biggest factors is the food. We all have stories of legendary dishes and food that our mothers and grandmothers used to make. We follow recipes handed down through the generations.
These past couple of years, a looming gloomy shadow of the pandemic has been lingering around, ready to cancel our celebrations at the mere mention of its name. Interesting how new variants just crop up in times knowing that most of us will be gathering to celebrate a “Christian” holiday. Governments all around the world insist on its people refraining to gather together. It wouldn’t be Christmas for the most of us if we don’t. Christmas is a time that we need to gather together, share our joy with others… If we are not allowed to do that, Christmas is just another day.
Well, that is my rant for the day.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and joyous New Year to follow.
